Program CurriculumThe software engineering re-skilling™ program curriculum is built around the following modules:
  • Basic Computing
  • Object-oriented Design and Programming
  • Real-time Systems
  • Computer Networks
  • Databases
  • Software Engineering and Project Management

To meet specific industry requirements, the flexible nature of the program allows participants to choose from a menu of 60 or more courses drawn from the above modules and delivered by our university partners.

Program RequirementsStudents must complete a minimum of eight courses for the two study terms and one project during each of the two work terms. Course credits received are eligible towards a degree program.
Mentors/AdvisorsA University Advisor and Company Mentor assist with the selection of courses and projects which is based on the student's background, company needs and course prerequisites

Eligibility CriteriaIn addition to General Requirements, Applicants must:
  • possess excellent academic qualifications in a science or engineering discipline, other than computer science or software engineering
  • be committed to making a career change
