Bioprocessing Program Update

Bioprocessing Program

McGill University, Montreal

Please note that the dates for the bioprocessing pilot program have been moved ahead one week.  The program will run for 8 weeks. Applications are welcome from science and engineering graduates with a minimum bachelor’s degree. 

Why should you apply?

  • Launch a career in biopharma / environmental / chemical manufacturing
  • Intensive, cost-free training in bioprocessing (small deposit required)
  • Obtain hands-on experience in small and medium-size fermentation reactors in both laboratory and pilot-scale production facilities.

What about tuition?

Tuition is sponsored.  Successful applicants will need to pay a refundable deposit upon completion of program.

Where will it be held?

McGill University, MacDonald Campus, Ste. Anne de Bellevue (Montreal West).  Shuttle service available from Mc Gill downtown.

Program Duration:
May 26 – July 17, 2003

Students will take a total of 7 courses, 5 of which contain a laboratory component.

  • Bioprocess Design & Simulation
  • Operation & Control of Fermentation Processes
  • cGMP for Food & Biopharma
  • Molecular and Cellular Biology
