LEED™ Workshop

Vitesse is offering a 3-day training workshop on LEED™ (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). This workshop will cover LEED Canada for New Construction and Major Renovations (NC) 2009 and LEED Canada Core and Shell Development (CS) 2009.

When:       February 7, 8 and 9, 2011

Where:      Vitesse Re-Skilling Canada

                  359 Terry Fox Dr., Suite 210, Ottawa ON, K2K 2E7

The course will be delivered in two formats simultaneously:

In class at Working Skills  Centre, and

Remote: (Virtual class) - Online – Real-time, instructor-led.

NOTE: Online participants will receive the course notes before the workshop.

LEED™ is a globally recognized building certification and people accreditation system administered in Canada by the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC).

Some of the topics covered in this course include:

     ·         Energy savings

·         Water efficiency

·         Improved indoor environmental quality

·         CO₂ emissions reduction

·         Stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their sustainability

There are no prerequisites to the Vitesse workshop.  It is open to engineers, architects, developers, technicians, and building and operations managers.
